§ 11-12-5 - Plea of former jeopardy.
SECTION 11-12-5
§ 11-12-5 Plea of former jeopardy. –Any person indicted under either § 11-12-3 or 11-12-4 may plead a formerconviction or acquittal of the same offense in the state or county in which theduel was fought, and that plea, if admitted or established, shall bar allfurther proceedings against the person for the same offense within this state.
