SECTION 11-12-9
§ 11-12-9 Arrest of fighters. – Every sheriff, deputy sheriff, town sergeant, constable or police officer shallimmediately arrest in any county any person violating any of the provisions of§§ 11-12-6 – 11-12-8, and shall detain the person until awarrant can be obtained for his or her arrest.
