SECTION 11-16-7

   § 11-16-7  Tampering with packaging. –Every person who tampers with the contents of a package or container for saleto the public with the intent to injure a potential user of the contents shallbe guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for not less than three (3)years nor more than ten (10) years, or a fine of not more than five thousanddollars ($5,000), or both.
