§ 11-17-8 - Passing of counterfeit coins.
SECTION 11-17-8
§ 11-17-8 Passing of counterfeit coins.– Every person who shall utter or tender in payment as true any false, forged orcounterfeit coin, made and forged in imitation and similitude of any gold orsilver coin current within this state by law or usage, knowing it to be falseor counterfeit, with intent to defraud, shall be imprisoned not exceeding ten(10) years nor less than two (2) years.
