SECTION 11-18-12

   § 11-18-12  Injunction of falseadvertising. – When it appears to the director of business regulation of the state of RhodeIsland that any person, firm, corporation, or association is violating any ofthe provisions of § 11-18-10, the director of business regulation maycause to be instituted an action, commenced in the name of the director ofbusiness regulation in his capacity as director of business regulation, toenjoin the violation in the superior court and the court shall havejurisdiction to enjoin and/or restrain any person, firm, corporation orassociation from violating any of the provisions of § 11-18-10 withoutregard to whether criminal proceedings have been or may be instituted.
