SECTION 11-18-2
§ 11-18-2 False information to registrarof vital statistics. – Every person who shall knowingly furnish or cause to be furnished to theregistrar of vital statistics of any city or town false information concerningany birth, marriage, death and/or divorce shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and,upon conviction, shall be fined not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500), orimprisoned not exceeding one year, or both.
