SECTION 11-18-27

   § 11-18-27  Sale of false diplomas orcertificates. – Any person who unlawfully sells, buys, creates, duplicates, alters, gives, orobtains or attempts to buy, sell, create, duplicate, alter, give, or obtain adiploma or certificate of enrollment, conferred by an accredited institution ofeducation in any country, with the intent to use fraudulently the document orto allow the fraudulent use of the document, shall be guilty of a felony andupon conviction shall be sentenced for not more than two (2) years in jail orfined not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000).
