SECTION 11-18-7

   § 11-18-7  Procuring loan or credit onfaith of false statement. – No person knowing that a false statement in writing has been made, respectingthe financial condition or means or ability to pay, of himself or herself, orthe person, firm, or corporation in which he or she is interested, or for whomhe or she is acting, shall procure, upon the faith of the statement, for thebenefit either of himself or herself, or of such person, firm, or corporation,either or any of the things of benefit as provided in § 11-18-6.
