SECTION 11-24-5

   § 11-24-5  Liberal construction ofprovisions. – The provisions of §§ 11-24-1 – 11-24-6 shall be construedliberally for the accomplishment of their purposes, and any law inconsistentwith their provisions shall not apply. Nothing contained in these sectionsshall be deemed to repeal any of the provisions of any law of this staterelating to discrimination because of race or color, religion or country ofancestral origin, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identityor expression.
