SECTION 11-41-8
§ 11-41-8 Stealing of animals. – Every person who shall steal or attempt to steal any horse or other domesticanimal shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than one year or by afine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500), or both; in case a fine isimposed, one-half ( 1/2) shall inure to the use of the complainant.
