SECTION 11-44-13

   § 11-44-13  Injury to public statues andmonuments. – Every person who shall willfully trespass upon, deface, mutilate, cover or keepcovered, or otherwise injure the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument in the city ofProvidence, or any other public statue or monument, shall be punished by a finenot exceeding five hundred dollars ($500), or by imprisonment not exceeding oneyear, or both fine and imprisonment.
