SECTION 11-47-23

   § 11-47-23  False information in securingfirearm or license. – No person shall, in purchasing or otherwise securing delivery of a shotgun,rifle, pistol, or revolver, or in applying for a license to carry it, givefalse information or offer false evidence of his or her identity. Violation ofthe provisions of this section may be punished by imprisonment for not morethan five (5) years.
