§ 11-5-6 - Assault and battery in the collection of a loan.
SECTION 11-5-6
§ 11-5-6 Assault and battery in thecollection of a loan. – Any person who commits an assault and battery upon another for the purpose ofcollecting any loan shall be punished upon the first conviction by imprisonmentfor not more than five (5) years and upon a second or subsequent conviction byimprisonment for not less than three (3) years nor more than ten (10) years.
