SECTION 11-55-2

   § 11-55-2  Paramilitary trainingprohibited. – (a) Any person who teaches or demonstrates to any other person the use,application, or making of any firearm, explosive or incendiary device, ortechnique capable of causing injury or death to persons, knowing or havingreason to know or intending that it will be unlawfully employed for use in, orin furtherance of, a civil disorder; or any person who assembles with one ormore persons for the purpose of training with, practicing with, or beinginstructed in the use of any firearm, explosive, or incendiary device, ortechnique capable of causing injury or death to persons, intending to employ itunlawfully for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder shall be guiltyof a felony.

   (b) Nothing contained in this section shall make unlawful anyact of any law enforcement officer which is performed in the lawful performanceof his or her official duties.
