SECTION 11-9.1-1

   § 11-9.1-1  Receipts for installmentpayments for merchandise. – Any person selling merchandise on the installment plan shall give to everypurchaser of the merchandise on the plan a receipt in writing for everyinstallment paid on account of the price of the merchandise, and every suchreceipt shall show the balance of the price remaining unpaid after givingcredit for the payment. Any person violating any of the provisions of thissection shall be fined twenty dollars ($20.00).
