SECTION 11-9.1-9

   § 11-9.1-9  Issuance of fraudulentwarehouse receipt. – A warehouse operator, or any officer, agent, or servant of a warehouseoperator, who issues or aids in issuing a warehouse receipt knowing that thegoods for which the receipt is issued have not been actually received by thewarehouse operator, or are not under his or her actual control at the time ofissuing the receipt, shall be guilty of a crime, and upon conviction shall bepunished for each offense by imprisonment not exceeding five (5) years, or by afine not exceeding five thousand dollars ($5,000), or both.
