SECTION 12-17-12

   § 12-17-12  Detention of evidence as toperjury. – If, in any proceeding in which perjury may be reasonably presumed pursuant to§ 12-17-11, any papers, books, or documents shall have been produced whichshall be deemed necessary to be used in any prosecution for perjury, the courtmay by order detain them from the person producing them, so long as may benecessary, in order that they may be used in the prosecution.
