   § 12-19.2-6  Work release and furloughprograms – Prohibited. – A person serving a sentence of life imprisonment without parole shall not beeligible for participation in the work release program as set forth in §42-56-21, the furlough program as set forth in § 42-56-18, or any otherprogram which allows a prisoner to be released from the confinement of theprison facility to which the prisoner has been assigned.
