SECTION 12-21-7

   § 12-21-7  Residence of court member incity or town to be benefited. – In actions for the recovery of any penalty or forfeiture before any court, itshall be no cause of exception that any member of the court resides or hasproperty in the city or town in which the offense was committed, or that thepenalty or any part of the penalty is recoverable to the use of the city ortown.
