SECTION 12-5.1-6

   § 12-5.1-6  Approval of interception ofwire, electronic, or oral communication. – (a) An order of approval of the interception of any wire, electronic, or oralcommunication relating to an offense other than that specified in the order ofauthorization may be issued where the court finds on an application for anorder of approval submitted in the same manner as an application forauthorization as provided in § 12-5.1-2 that the interception wasotherwise made in accordance with this chapter. This application shall be madeas soon as practicable.

   (b) In addition to any other right to appeal, the state, bythe attorney general, shall have the right to appeal from a denial of an orderof approval made under this section. The appeal shall be claimed and taken inthe manner provided by law and rule of court for prosecuting appeals in civilactions.
