SECTION 12-9-13

   § 12-9-13  Penalty for violating §12-9-12. – Any officer who shall deliver to the agent for extradition of the demandingstate a person in his or her custody under the governor's warrant, in willfuldisobedience to § 12-9-12, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, onconviction, shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), or beimprisoned not more than six (6) months, or both.
