SECTION 12-9-21

   § 12-9-21  Forfeiture of bail. – If the prisoner is admitted to bail, and fails to appear and surrenderaccording to the conditions of his or her bond, the judge, by proper order,shall declare the bond forfeited and order his or her immediate arrest withoutwarrant if he or she is within this state. Recovery may be had on the bond inthe name of the state as in the case of other bonds given by the accused incriminal proceedings within this state.
