   § 13-11-3  Powers of director ofcorrections. – The director of corrections is authorized and directed to do all thingsnecessary or incidental to the carrying out of the compact in every particular.The director is further authorized to contract with any other states that shallbe necessary in accordance with good prison policy to secure similar transferagreements for the interstate transfer of prisoners.
