SECTION 13-8-19

   § 13-8-19  Arrest and return to institutionon revocation of parole. – (a) Whenever the permit of a prisoner is revoked, in accordance with theprovisions of § 13-8-18.1 the parole board shall order the prisoner to bereturned to the adult correctional institutions or to the women's division ofthe adult correctional institutions, as the case may be, to serve the remainderof the prisoner's original sentence according to the terms of that sentence.

   (b) The time between the release of the prisoner under thepermit and the prisoner's return to the adult correctional institutions or thewomen's division of the adult correctional institutions under order of theboard shall not be considered as any part of the prisoner's original sentence.

   (c) If a prisoner is at liberty when the prisoner's permit isrevoked, the chairperson shall issue his or her warrant to any officerauthorized to serve criminal process to arrest the prisoner and return theprisoner to the adult correctional institutions or the women's division of theadult correctional institutions in accordance with the provisions of §13-8-18.1 as ordered by the board.
