SECTION 14-4-1

   § 14-4-1  Responsibility for control andmaintenance of center. – The control and maintenance of the state home and school for dependent andneglected children shall be vested in the department of children, youth, andfamilies. The school shall be known as the Doctor Patrick I. O'Rourkechildren's center of Rhode Island. The department shall establish a system ofgovernment for the children's center and shall make all necessary rules andregulations for imparting instruction for the proper training of the children.
