   § 15-14.1-29  Simultaneous proceedings.– If a proceeding for enforcement under this chapter is commenced in a court ofthis state and the court determines that a proceeding to modify thedetermination is pending in a court of another state having jurisdiction tomodify the determination under this chapter, the enforcing court shallimmediately communicate with the modifying court. The proceeding forenforcement continues unless the enforcing court, after consultation with themodifying court, stays or dismisses the proceeding.
