SECTION 15-14.1-34

   § 15-14.1-34  Costs, fees, and expenses.– (a) The court may award the prevailing party, including a state, necessary andreasonable expenses incurred by or on behalf of the party, including costs,communication expenses, attorneys' fees, investigative fees, expenses forwitnesses, travel expenses, and child care during the course of the proceedings.

   (b) The court may not assess fees, costs, or expenses againsta state unless authorized by law other than this chapter.
