SECTION 15-16-4

   § 15-16-4  Income withholding agency.– The division of taxation within the department of administration is designatedas the state income withholding agency for all income withholding orders issuedor registered in Rhode Island and shall have all powers, duties, andresponsibilities to establish and administer income withholding in accordancewith this chapter, and is further authorized and directed to promulgate rulesand regulations that it deems necessary to implement the provisions andpurposes of this chapter; provided, that any rule or regulation affecting theduties and responsibilities of the family court shall be made with theconcurrence of the chief judge of the family court.
