SECTION 15-23.1-103

   § 15-23.1-103  Remedies cumulative. –(a) Remedies provided by this chapter are cumulative and do not affect theavailability of remedies under other law, including the recognition of asupport order of a foreign country or political subdivision on the basis ofcomity.

   (b) This chapter does not:

   (1) Provide the exclusive method of establishing or enforcinga support order under the law of this state; or

   (2) Grant a tribunal of this state jurisdiction to renderjudgment or issue an order relating to child custody or visitation in aproceeding under this chapter.
