SECTION 15-5-16.5

   § 15-5-16.5  Interest on arrearages. –Interest at the rate of twelve percent (12%) per annum on any support debt dueor owing, child or spousal support, shall be assessed unless the responsibleparty shall, for good cause shown, be relieved of the obligation to payinterest by the family court.
