SECTION 15-7-22

   § 15-7-22  Penalty for violations or falsestatements. – Every person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter, or whointentionally makes any false statements with reference to the matterscontained in this chapter, shall, in addition to any specific penaltiesprovided in this chapter, upon conviction of the first offense, be imprisonedfor a term not exceeding one year and/or be fined not exceeding five hundreddollars ($500), and of a second or subsequent offense, shall be imprisoned fora term not exceeding two (2) years and/or be fined an amount not exceeding onethousand dollars ($1,000).
