SECTION 15-8-23

   § 15-8-23  Birth records. – (a) Upon order of the family court, the registrar of vital records shallprepare a new birth certificate consistent with the findings of the court andshall substitute the new certificate for the original certificate of birth.

   (b) The fact that the father and child relationship wasdeclared after the child's birth shall not be ascertainable from the newcertificate, but the actual place and date of birth shall be shown on it.
