SECTION 16-15-15

   § 16-15-15  Payment of grants for teachersretiring after July 1, 1949. – (a) Upon the passage of §§ 16-15-13 – 16-15-15 the department ofelementary and secondary education and the retirement division in thedepartment of treasury shall apportion the retirement grant into monthlybenefits and shall disburse monthly the benefits to all eligible retiredteachers under this law.

   (b) The state controller is authorized and directed to drawhis or her orders upon the general treasurer for the payment of those sums thatmay be required from time to time upon receipt by him or her of proper vouchersapproved by the department of elementary and secondary education and theretirement division in the department of treasury.
