SECTION 16-24-3

   § 16-24-3  Annual census of children withdisabilities. – The school committee of every city and town shall annually ascertain, underregulations prescribed by the state board of regents for elementary andsecondary education, in cooperation with the directors of human services andmental health, retardation, and hospitals, the number of children residing inthe town or city of school age who have disabilities.
