§ 16-25.3-4 - Continuing education units.
SECTION 16-25.3-4
§ 16-25.3-4 Continuing education units.– The department of elementary and secondary education and the board of regentsfor elementary and secondary education shall accept AmericanSpeech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) accredited continuing educationunits (CEU's) completed by a speech-language pathologist (SLP) to fulfillcontinuing education requirements, in combination with or in lieu of collegecourse credits. American Speech-Language-Hearing Association continuingeducation units will be reported in transcript from the ASHA Registry ofContinuing Education to the office of teacher certification within thedepartment of elementary and secondary education.
