SECTION 16-25.4-6

   § 16-25.4-6  Severability. – Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to infringe upon the ability of astate university, college, or community college to establish degreerequirements including foreign language requirements. If any provisions of thischapter or of any rule, regulation, or order made under this chapter, or itsapplication to any person or circumstances, is held invalid by a court ofcompetent jurisdiction, the remainder of this chapter, rule, regulation, ororder, and the application of the provision to other persons or circumstances,shall not be affected by this invalidity. The invalidity of any section orsections or parts of any section or sections of this chapter shall not affectthe validity of the remainder of this chapter and it is declared to be thelegislative intent that this chapter would have been enacted if the invalidparts had not been included in it.
