SECTION 16-45-4

   § 16-45-4  Regional school established– Appropriation. – The board of regents for elementary and secondary education shall immediatelyundertake the construction of a regional vocational school at a site to beselected by the board in an industrial area in the Blackstone Valley. The sumof two million dollars ($2,000,000) is appropriated, out of any money in thetreasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of acquiring a site andfor the constructing and equipping the regional vocational school; and thestate controller is authorized and directed to draw his or her orders upon thegeneral treasurer for the payment of any sums or so much of the sum as may berequired from time to time upon receipt by the controller of properlyauthenticated vouchers.
