SECTION 16-59-17

   § 16-59-17  Severability. – If any provision of this chapter or of any rule or regulation made under thischapter, or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid by acourt of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of the chapter, rule, orregulation and the application of the provision to other persons orcircumstances shall not be affected by this invalidity. The invalidity of anysection or sections or parts of any section or sections shall not affect thevalidity of the remainder of the chapter.
