SECTION 16-59-21

   § 16-59-21  Freedom from budget and leasecontrol by other agencies. – In order that the board of governors for higher education may control thepersonnel and equipment of the state colleges in the interest of educationalefficiency, the board and the colleges are excepted from the provisions ofsubsection (a)(5) of § 35-3-1 relating to the employment of personnel, andfrom that part of § 42-20-8 which relates to the director ofadministration.
