§ 16-61-12 Annual report. Within ninety (90) days after the end of each fiscal year, the authority shallapprove and submit an annual report to the governor, the speaker of the houseof representatives, the president of the senate, and secretary of state of itsactivities during that fiscal year. The report shall provide: an operatingstatement summarizing meetings or hearings held, including meeting minutes,subjects addressed, decisions rendered, rules or regulations promulgated,studies conducted, policies and plans developed, approved or modified, andprograms administered or initiated; a consolidated financial statement of allfunds received and expended including the source of the funds, a listing of anystaff supported by these funds and a summary of any clerical, administrative ortechnical support received; a summary of performance during the previous fiscalyear including accomplishments, shortcomings and remedies; a synopsis ofhearings, complaints, suspensions or other legal matters related to theauthority; a summary of any training courses held pursuant to the provisions ofthis chapter; a briefing on anticipated activities in the upcoming fiscal year;and findings and recommendations for improvements. The authority shall cause anaudit of its books and accounts, including the records pertaining to any entitycreated at the direction and/or under the auspices of the authority, to be madeat least once each fiscal year by the auditor general. The report shall beposted electronically on the general assembly's and secretary of state'swebsites as prescribed in § 42-20-8.2. The director of the department ofadministration shall be responsible for the enforcement of this provision.
