SECTION 16-8-8

   § 16-8-8  Acceptance and use of federalschool lunch funds. – The department of elementary and secondary education is authorized to acceptand direct the disbursement of funds appropriated by any act of congress andapportioned to the state in connection with the establishment and maintenanceof school lunch programs. The department of elementary and secondary educationshall deposit all funds received from the federal government with the generaltreasurer, to be placed in a special account, and drawn upon only on receipt ofproperly authenticated vouchers signed by the department of elementary andsecondary education.
