SECTION 17-10-10

   § 17-10-10  Corrections by state board.– The state board may request any local board to make any correction in anyvoting list, and if the local board does not immediately comply with therequest, the state board may make the correction itself, and this correctionshall not be changed except on order of the supreme court. Any person whosename is stricken from any voting list by the state board may file a petition asfrom an action of the local board as provided in this chapter. The state boardshall notify the secretary of state of the action. The state board, in orderingthe striking of any names from a voting list, shall be subject to the samerequirements and limitations as are applicable to local boards, including butnot limited to, the provisions of § 17-10-5.
