   § 17-11-17  Telephone – Polling place.– If there is a telephone within a polling place, then the owner of the buildingin which the polling place is located shall allow use of the telephone forofficial business by the warden, clerk, and state inspector during the periodbeginning one hour before the opening of the polling place and ending one hourafter the closing of the polling place. The local board of canvassers shall berequired to reimburse the owner of the building for that portion of anytelephone bill resulting from the use of the telephone by any of the electionofficials mentioned in this section.
