SECTION 17-11-2

   § 17-11-2  Notice of division or redivisionof districts. – The local boards, upon the dividing or redividing of a senatorial orrepresentative district, shall give public notice of what senatorial orrepresentative districts have been divided or redivided into voting districtsby publication in some newspaper having a general circulation in the city ortown, and shall post, for a period of forty (40) days, a map in the office ofthe board or in the town clerk's office showing the lines of the votingdistricts, and shall at all times keep the map on file in their respectiveoffices.
