SECTION 17-12-1

   § 17-12-1  Selection of state committees.– Party state committees shall be selected in the manner provided by statute orparty rule. Any party may, by a duly enacted party rule, elect to choose themembers of its party state committee pursuant to the provisions of chapter 15of this title or by any other method agreeable to the party state committee;provided, that where the method of selecting party state committee now in forceis by caucus, selection shall subsequently be made at a primary electionpursuant to the provisions of chapter 15 of this title until another method ofselection is adopted by the party state committee.
