SECTION 17-23-11

   § 17-23-11  Limitation of prosecutions– Payment to complainant. – All prosecutions for offenses against the provisions of this chapter shallcommence within one year after the offenses have been committed, and notafterwards. And upon the presentation of a certificate of the clerk of anycourt of the final conviction in the court of any person under the provisionsof this chapter, the state controller is authorized and directed to draw his orher order on the general treasurer for the sum of fifty dollars ($50), anddeliver the sum to the person complainant in the prosecution.
