   § 17-25-9  Designation of campaigntreasurer of political party committees – Filings. – (a) Each state and municipal committee of a political party shall, on or beforeJanuary 31 of each year, designate a campaign treasurer and shall file the nameand address of that person with the board of elections.

   (b) A campaign treasurer of the state or municipal committeeof a political party may appoint deputy campaign treasurers as may be required.The committees shall file the names and addresses of the deputy campaigntreasurers with the board of elections.

   (c) Any state or municipal committee of a political party mayremove at any time its campaign treasurer. In the case of the death,resignation, or removal of its campaign treasurer, any committee shall appointa successor as soon as practicable and file his or her name and address withthe board of elections within ten (10) days.
