SECTION 17-28-1

   § 17-28-1  Purpose. – The general assembly finds that persons attempting to escape from actual orthreatened domestic violence frequently establish new addresses in order toprevent their assailants or probable assailants from finding them. The purposeof this chapter is to enable victims of domestic violence and members of theirhousehold to participate in the electoral process by providing addressconfidentiality.
