SECTION 17-4-12

   § 17-4-12  Attendance of governor andsecretary of state – Certificates required by federal law. – It shall be the duty of the governor and the secretary of state to be presentat the state house in Providence on the day of the meeting of the electors, tomake and furnish to the electors any certificates required by the laws of theUnited States to be forwarded to the seat of government with the votes of theelectors which are made necessary by any election made pursuant to theprovisions of § 17-4-11.
