§ 17-6-6 - Oath required as to use of lists. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 17-6-6

   § 17-6-6  Oath required as to use of lists.– Every person receiving the registry lists shall take and subscribe to thefollowing oath:

   "I understand that the lists requested by me are the propertyof the state of Rhode Island and (I affirm that I am the state chairperson ofthe ]]]]]]]] party); (I proposed to be a duly qualified candidate in the nextfollowing primary and/or election); and that I am a person authorized by §17-6-5 to receive a copy of the registry lists described; and I further affirmthat the lists will be used only for the purposes prescribed and for no otheruse and that I will not permit the use of or copying of the lists byunauthorized persons.
